Open For Public Good

Hi and welcome to my website. I specialize in innovative uses of digital technologies and the Internet for education, culture, and public good. I am adept at visioning ways technology can improve the well-being of all and then designing and implementing the transformative practices associated with such change. I bring a global perspective to this work drawing on decades of experience with initiatives all around the world. A large part of my work has focused on the use of open source principles and open licenses for creating digital public goods including Open Educational Resources, Open Access research, Open Culture collections, and Open Science. An essential aspect of that work has been on the people side building the culture, community and operational models associated with sharing, collaboration, and value co-creation.

I now work as an independent consultant providing services and support to senior leaders and practitioners in creating social enterprises that generate public good.
